The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of RICHARD SPENCER can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I just heard about the loss of Richard and was out of town and missed the service. Having grown up with him in Hanford Village we go waaaayyy back. He used to tease me a lot, but as i look back, it was all in fun. May God bless the family as you try to mend your family circle. I know he will be missed, especially by Mrs. Spencer. Stay Encouraged.

Condolence: My sincere condolences to the Spencer Family. Richard was the big brother I never had. One of the first friendly faces I can remember when we moved to Kelton Ave, during the spring of 1965. He had a tremendous intellect and was very giving. He taught me many things, such as, how to be a critical thinker, how to be Politically aware and how to get a summer job. He even taught me how to ride a motorcycle. He was also a neighborhood role model for many kids, when he Supervised for the Columbus Recreation Department at Deshler School. RIP Richard. And Mrs. Spencer, thank you for being a great neighborhood mom to me and all of the other "Kelton kids".
