Loretta Marshall-Hillman was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend who went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, at the age of sixty-one years old. She was born in Columbus, OH to the late Dewey L. and Elizabeth F. Marshall.
Loretta graduated from East High School and continued on to receive her Bachelor of Arts degree from Kent State University. She pledged and became a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Epsilon Gamma Chapter. She retired from the State of Ohio, Department of Youth Services with over 30 years of service.
She accepted Christ at an early age and was a dedicated and faithful member of New Birth Christian Ministries.
Left to cherish her memory are her two loving sons DeShawn Marshall and Kevin Darthard, Jr. along with her grandson Kevin Darthard, III; brother, Lee Walker; sisters Phyllis Jeffries and Janice Bishop; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, along with a loyal friend Debbie Russell and many others.
