My sincere condolences to the Spencer Family. Richard was the big brother I never had. One of the first friendly faces I can remember when we moved to Kelton Ave, during the spring of 1965. He had a tremendous intellect and was very giving. He taught me many things, such as, how to be a critical thinker, how to be Politically aware and how to get a summer job. He even taught me how to ride a motorcycle. He was also a neighborhood role model for many kids, when he Supervised for the Columbus Recreation Department at Deshler School. RIP Richard. And Mrs. Spencer, thank you for being a great neighborhood mom to me and all of the other "Kelton kids".
