Vernon “Mike” Jones, 68, of Columbus, passed away peacefully December 12, 2020 at his home. Mike was born in Columbus, Ohio on December 5, 1952 to the late Vernon and Margaret Jones. He attended East High School. He retired from the Transportation Security Administration in 2017. Before that, he owned his own business, Carpet Showroom, for more than 30 years. Mike will be missed by his two sons, Michael Todd (Carol) Hadden and Christopher Michael Jones, both of Columbus, OH; daughters, Courtney Hunter of Tallahassee, FL & Brittany Hunter of Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Tre’, Loran, Aleah, Ava & Jadiel; and many extended family members and friends.
