Obituary for TEJUAN JEROME HAMMONS Sr.

Tejuan J Hammons born on the 5th of April, 1980 in Columbus, Ohio to Tina Hammons and John Dooley, departed this life on December 3rd, 2020 at the age of 40. Tejuan graduated from Eastmoor High School in 1999 and attended American School of Technology in 2013 where he studied HVAC. Tejuan was a veteran who served 8 years in the United States Navy and was deployed to Kuwait, Afghanistan, and Iraq. During his service he received numerous medals, commendations, and ribbons including the National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, and three Sea Service Deployment Ribbons to name a few. Tejuan worked as a Maintenance Technician at Vesta Management.
 
Tejuan or Big T as he was known by many was known to be a jokester, happy, loving and optimistic person. Who enjoyed making beats, drawing, watching anime, and working with electronics to name a few of his hobbies. When he wasn’t in Facebook Jail he spent time making people laugh, and sharing memes, around Tejuan you were guaranteed to say or hear somebody say “You play too much”. Tejuan was always dropping knowledge and it was always love every time you were around him. Tejuan did a lot traveling during his time in the service living in North Carolina, Mississippi, Texas, Georgia and Virginia. 
Tejuan was preceded in death by Grandmother Florence Hammons, Grandfather Clarence Hale, and sister Christina Dooley. He leaves to cherish his memory his Mother Tina Hammons, Father John Dooley, siblings: Tiffany Hammons, Travon Hammons, Larina Lee, and Larry Lee, children: Taeron Jamal Hammons, Adina Ta’shay Marie Pittman, Tejuan Jerome Hammons Jr, Robert Rashaud Hammons, Antonio Malik Hammons. Host of nieces, nephews, uncle, aunts, loved ones friends, and many other whose lifes he touched.
