Obituary for Shirley Ann Williams

Shirley Ann Williams was born March 4 1936 in Columbus, Ohio.

She retired from the State Of Ohio after working 30 years to become the caregiver for her mother. She was a long standing member of Original Glorious Church.

She loved to do bible word searches, cook her “famous fried chicken” and roast beef, and vacation with her family. She was an avid basketball and football fan who loved to discuss the latest sports news with family and friends.

She was an awesome woman of God who led by example. She instilled in her family the importance of keeping God first and to always be there for family.

She is preceded in death by her Mother Kalor Williams; Brothers Chester
Williams and Robert Dickerson; Daughter Nivina Cargill; Grandchildren Anthony Martin
and Talia Martin.

She leaves to cherish her memory: Daughter Pamela Merritt; Son Anthony Williams; Grandchildren Derick (Talishia)Williams, Antonio(Misona)Williams, Roosevelt Tatum Jr, Malcom(Sierra) Williams, Candis Williams, Tyler Williams, Robert Tatum, Tykeqa (Antonio)Harris, Tiaeshia Martin and Anton Martin; Nieces Stacie Payne and Daria Payne; Nephew Pryest Bogans; Son in laws; Roosevelt Tatum and Willie Cargill; longtime friend Patricia Calloway and a host of great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
