Obituary for Shelia Kay Perrin

Shelia Kay Perrin, also known as Kate, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019. She was born in Logan, West Virginia on July 4, 1953.
Shelia graduated from Linden McKinley High School in 1971. She worked at Columbia Gas of Ohio for 22 years and City National Bank. She retired from Wasserstrom Supply Company, after 14 years of service.
Shelia gave her life to the Lord at a young age. She rededicated her life and was baptized at New Birth Christian Ministries in 2017.
Shelia loved bargain shopping and watching Judge Judy. She enjoyed spending time with family and spoiling her grandsons. She was best known for her encouraging smile and calming presence.
She was preceded in death by her father Berford Dallas Gammon, mother Louise Eva Gammon (Knaff); brothers, Clarence Wilson, Freddie Wilson, William Gammon, Robert Gammon, James Gammon; and sister, Betty Pierce.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughters Isha (Antoine) Matthews and Leslie Perrin; grandsons, Elijah and Noah Matthews. She is survived by her brother Berford (Rose) Gammon; sisters, Violet Mayo, Brenda (Fred) Snider, and Patricia Gammon; beloved nephew, Donald (Florence) Gammon; and special friend and father of her children, Lindsey Perrin.
Homegoing service will be held at 11 am on Friday, September 20, 2019 at New Birth Christian Ministries, 3475 Refugee Road, Columbus, OH 43232. The viewing will take place at 10 am. The burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial gifts may be made to the New Birth Cancer Warriors.
