On this divine day, we are here to see an angle off to heaven. SCHRAY ANNETTE CUNNINGHAM, born Wednesday, January 18, 1984, was a shining light to our family. She was someone you could call on any time of the day and following the encounter, there was joy.
She graced the earth with her ability to adapt to any situation. Being the oldest girl, Schray had to grow up fast to help take care of her other siblings. She was a light to this world and now she will forever shine on us.
GONE TO SOON . . . Schray, age 36, departed this life on Thursday, September 10, 2020. She joins her grandmother, Mary Sharp; grandfather, Franklin Sharp; mother, Loretta Cunningham-Glenn; father, Timothy King; and a host of other angels. We take a moment of silence for everyone who has lost someone close to them. This is a day for celebration of new birth, new life, and new beginnings for Schray.
A teenage mother and single parent, Schray, with the grace of God and her grandmother, Miss King, would be the first to raise a high school graduate in the Cunningham family. Schray was most proud of her children. They reflect her personality and characteristics of being smart, goofy, loving, witty, and a big dreamer with the soul of a lamb. Schray enjoyed basketball, dancing, rapping, and singing. She loved her family and will forever be remembered as their queen.
Celebrating Schray’s life and legacy are her children, Dezahray Cunningham, Micheal Gentry, Trevon Gentry, and twins, Jameer “No Shirt” Curry and Jasmine Curry; her siblings, Sesiem Cunningham, Andrew Johns III, and Tasha Smelley, John, Nate, Jason, and Alisha; other family members and many friends.
