On Saturday, May 23, 2020 the family of Robert "Bobby" W. Ford lost their patriarch in Columbus, Ohio at the age of 87.

Born to Robert E. Ford and Perline E. Ford (both deceased) on January 18, 1933 in Columbus, Ohio. Robert joined the United States Army during the Korean War in 1950. After discharge from the Army, Robert turned to factory work and truck driving before his retirement. A member of the American Legion, Robert loved collecting military aircraft memorabilia and other memorabilia related to the Armed Forces and loved NFL and NCAA football.

Robert is proceeded in death by parents, children Gregory "Greg" Ford and Jacqueline "Jackie" Ford and survived and cherished by children Wayne (Shaunna) Ford, Pamela (Edward) Battle, Cynthia Ford, Patricia Ford, Gary (Lori) Ford, Bryan Ford, Dwayne Ford, Cheryl Ford, Mary "Candy" (James) Lyte; sisters Donna Collymore, Bonita "Bonnie" Metcalf and Cassandra "Sandy" Metcalf; niece Wendy Collymore, long-time friend Reta Collins and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and loved ones.

A walk-through visitation is scheduled for loved ones June 2nd from 1pm-3pm at Caliman Funeral Home at 3700 Refugee Road.
