Richard James Henderson, 69 went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January, 5, 2023 in Columbus, Ohio. He was born on Wednesday, July 22, 1953, in Urbancrest, Ohio to Gordon Henderson Sr and Charlotte Henderson. Richard grew up in Urbancrest, and was a skilled auto mechanic and carpenter.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Gordon Sr and Charlotte Henderson; brother, Gordon Henderson Jr and sister, Jeraldine Henderson.
Richard is s is survived by his devoted companion of 34 years, Shirlene Coles; sisters, Edna Willingham and Beverly
Ross; brother, Stephen Henderson; children, Lakeysha (Ytoca) Keene, Lakeyonna Coles and Sherrod Coles; grandchildren, Sapphire Watson, Tanayjha Coles, Zi'Yonna Lamar, Zion Battles, Sherrod Coles Jr. Teayjha Coles and
Jayceon Keene; nephew Dondi Henderson; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, special relatives and friends.
