Ray “Rick”, “Ray-Ray”, “Ricky-Ray” Eugene Richardson Jr., age 68, departed on February 16, 2021 after a hard fought, two year battle with cancer. In 1970, Ray graduated from East High School and worked as a Machinist before joining the U.S. Army. He attended basic training at Fort Polk in Louisiana and was later stationed at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio, TX and Fort Leonard Wood in Missouri. In the military, he trained as an Operating Room Technician assisting Surgeons. As a reservist stationed in Columbus Ohio, Ray was recognized for his suture skills and was given the responsibility for suturing patients at the end of their surgeries working for both Grant Hospital and Mt Carmel Hospitals. Rick then transitioned his career to Thomas W. Ruff and Company where he worked for 29 years beginning as a Truck Driver, promoted to Installer and then Project Manager. He later went on to work for Continental Office Furniture where he worked as a Project Manager until he retired due to disability in 2017. He will be remembered for his comedic personality and being surrounded by family and friends.

Grandchildren – Khadari, Kayla, Kristen, John, Kaya, Karington,
Ryleigh, Cameron Jr. and Landon
He also leaves to cherish his memory Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews
