Obituary for PAUL DEAN WILLIAMS Sr.

PAUL DEAN “PD” WILLIAMS, SR., age 87, of Columbus, Ohio was called home Saturday, November 28, 2020, to be with our Heavenly Father. Paul was born to the late Mr. Charles Henry Williams and the late Mrs. Miamie Hazel (Hicks) Delaney, in Hillsboro, Ohio on Monday, June 5, 1933.
Paul graduated from Hillsboro, Ohio High School in May 1951, where he loved playing sports: baseball, basketball, football, and track. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and became a Staff Sergeant until March 1961. He later was employed at Buckeye Steel Castings for over 32 years of dedicated service.
Paul loved the Lord and was a member of Calvary Tremont Baptist Church, 1255 Leonard Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43203, until the time of his passing. Paul lived and loved life to the fullest. He touched so many lives with just a smile or laugh. He truly was an angel. He will be in our hearts always and forever. If you’re ever in need of an angel, just call on PD.
Paul D. Williams, Sr. is survived by his wife, Mary P. Allison Williams; sons, Paul D. (Stella) Williams Jr. and David A. King; daughters, Cynthia R. Sanford, Brenda
K. (Redel) Williams Norman, and
Bernice Bowman; stepsons, Charles (Carolyn) Miller and Thomas (Natile) Miller; stepdaughters, Barbara Clark and Teresa Harris; his special “main man” and grandson, DeShawn M. Gray, Sr; special niece, Joni Mason; 30 grandchildren; 67 great grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
