Obituary for Ophelia Taylor
Ophelia (Fede) was called home to eternal rest on Friday June 5, 2020 at age 62. Ophelia was the 3rd child born to James Earl and Minnie Bell Taylor on December 27,1957 in Boyd County Ashland, Kentucky. Fede is preceded in death by her eldest son Thomas James Taylor, baby sister Pamela Kay and her parents.
Ophelia attended Central High School, class of 1976; furthering her education at Columbus Technical Institute where she studied Law Enforcement Criminal Justice System and later went to work for The Ohio Reformatory for Women.
Ophelia had a keen sense of humor and enjoyed fashion, good food and music. She also held a special love for her baby boy, Thurston. Ophelia will be fondly remembered for her strength and accomplishments. Ophelia leaves to morn and cherish her memory her children; Nutosha (Devon) Mitchell and Thurston Taylor; brother James Taylor; sisters Ann, Gwynett, Rebecca and Geraldine. A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins as well as 10 grandchildren.
