Michelle Denise Stevenson
Sunrise: October 22, 1961 Sunset: October 19, 2022
Michelle Denise Stevenson passed on to God’s glory on October 19, 2022. May He bless her soul.
Michelle was born in Youngstown, Ohio, the only child of James and Helen (Harris) Stevenson. She grew up with an unfaltering belief in God, instilled in her not only by her parents, but her maternal grandparents, the Reverend Leonard and Margaret Harris. After graduating from high school, she joined the United States Air Force, where she was honorably discharged.
Once she returned to civilian life, she continued her education throughout the years. She worked at a number of different companies, but her her true passion was her thirst for knowledge. The only thing equal to her quest to learn was her unwavering allegiance to her beloved Pittsburgh Steelers. A lifelong fan, she represented Steeler Nation every opportunity she could.
In addition to her parents and grandparents, she is preceded in death by John and Isabelle (Fears) Williams, with whom she had a loving, familial relationship, especially after the passing of her parents. God has reunited her with all of these people she loved so much.
Michelle will be sorely missed by her loved ones and friends she leaves behind, many of whom live here in the Columbus area, as well as those who still remain in Youngstown and other parts of the country. We would be remiss if we didn’t mention the true loves of her life, her two cats, Little Man and Lady.
Michelle will live in our hearts forever.
The service will be simple and dignified, just as she would have wanted.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
