Obituary for MICHAEL JAMES FAIR Jr.
MICHAEL JAMES FAIR JR. was born Sunday, May 7, 1995, at Doctors North Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was the son of Michael James Fair, Sr. and Seretha Terry. He was affectionately called “Mikey” by family and friends. Michael accepted Christ on November 25, 2012, and was later baptized
December 4, 2012, at Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. He received his formal education from Columbus City Schools. Michael was graduate of Brookhaven High School, Class of 2013.
Michael was a tremendous athlete. He expressed an interest in sports at an early age. He played little league football for the West Side Dolphins and Mifflin Sharks. He then played basketball for the Starmatics and Ohio Varsity and in high school, he was a proud Brookhaven Bearcat, playing both, football and basketball.
GONE TOO SOON . . . Our beloved Michael departed this life Tuesday, September 1, 2020. He was 25 years of age. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Donzetta Terry and his brother, Charles Witherspoon.
Loving memories are cherished by his parents, Michael James Fair, Sr. and Seretha Terry; sisters, Britney Terry, Mya Fair, Kierra Fair, and Kanijah Sealey; brother, William Terry; paternal grandmother, Joyce Fair Harris; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and many friends. Michael will be truly missed and will live forever in our hearts.
