Mary Ann Davis, 77, passed away peacefully into eternal rest Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Echo Manor, after a long courageous battle with medical conditions. Born in Georgia, she and family moved to Columbus, OH. She was an active member of Mt. Hermon Baptist Church. After graduation from Linden McKinley High School in 1962 she was employed by Rockwell and later with BP/ARCO in Los Angles, CA for 33 years. She lived a good life there. She was a member of City of Refuge Church. Mary moved back home in 2018 to be with family. She resided in Brookdale Senior Living where she had a wonderful experience for several years. Mary loved the Lord and lived a life of strong faith, generosity and caring for people. She will be remembered for her humor, infectious laugh, warm smile and hugs. Mary is preceded in death by parents, Elisha and Rossalene Davis; brother, Robert Davis; nephew, David Dixson; and dear friend, Louise Greene of CA. She leaves to cherish her memory sisters, Earlene McCall and Doris (Frank) Nelson; brothers, Kevin Douglas and Kevin Davis; aunt, Rosa Patrick; nieces, Athena Walton, Tonda Nelson and Felicia (Simeon) Frazier; great nieces, Devoreaux and Jordan Walton, Jalyn Jefferson and Elexis Winbush; great nephew, Michael Steven Frazier; cousins, Jeffrey (Serbennia) Davis; Sherry and Terri Davis; cherished friends from CA, Jeffrey Trexler, Orville Draughan, Attricia Stroupe, Inell Coulter and a host of dear relatives and friends.
