Obituary for MARCUS THERON WARNER

On Sunday, March 21st 2021, Marcus Theron Warner gained his heavenly wings, leaving a void in the hearts of many who already knew him as a true angel on earth. Marcus was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, son-in-law, and friend to so many who deeply mourn his loss.

To know Marcus was to admire him. He was one of a kind, inexplicably filled to the brim with good, in such a way that it poured out of him and onto everyone he knew and loved. His eyes were a perfect reflection of his sweet soul - kind, gentle, welcoming, and warm, yet intriguingly unique and truly unforgettable. Marcus’ family says he was always eager to help, dependable, and never had an ill word, yet spoke only encouragement and love. He was full of life and laughter.

Marcus recently graduated with an Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapy Assistance and was a new father to a beautiful 7-month-old baby boy who shares his father’s unique and captivating blue eyes. Cathiana, his wife and soulmate, has shared that those little eyes lit up in the most loving and exciting way every time Marcus Jr. saw his father-as if, through those eyes, they shared an unspoken language only they could understand. Some of his favorite things that he enjoyed were sports, pizza, cartoons, movies, nature, and astronomy. He was the definition of a family man. His love, loyalty, selflessness, and laughter will never be forgotten. His legacy will live on forever.

Marcus’ journey began in Mullens, WV on November 19, 1985. He was born the 4th child to Ernest C. Warner and Deborah C. Warner. After graduating in 2004 from Wyoming East HS in WV Marcus left West Virginia and moved to Columbus, OH with some of his siblings a few years later. Ohio was a place of transition for him. It is where he found employment, furthered his education, shared a loving home with his wife, Cathiana, of 12 years, and the birth of his son, Marcus Jr., that would share his namesake, and make a host of new friends.

Marcus was preceded in death by his father, Ernest “Josh" Clinton Warner, Sr. and his brother, Robert “Pee Wee” Warner.

Those who remain to cherish are his wife, Cathiana B. Warner (OH) his son, Marcus T. Warner Jr. (OH), His mother, Deborah C. Warner (WV), his sisters, Toni Warner-Josko (GA), Erika Warner (OH), and Angela Warner (OH). His brother, Ernest C. Warner Jr. (WV). His mother-in-law, Marie Carole Senat (MA), father-in-law, Yves Pericles Beauge (Haiti), brother-in-law, Presley Rabetzki Beauge (FL) and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
