Obituary for LOUIS RICARDO MILLER

Louis Ricardo Miller, was born October 11, 1950, in Columbus, OH. He was the beloved son of the late Louis E. Miller and Bertha Jones. He received the gift of eternal life on what was his 72nd birthday, Tuesday, October 11, 2022.

Louis was educated in the Columbus City Public School System. He served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1971. He earned the rank of SP-4 and served in the Vietnam War. He was employed with Ohio Health System for over 20 years as an Anesthesia Technician. Louis was baptized at Faith Ministries in Columbus at a young age. Though he is no longer physically with us, his loving and kind spirit will forever live in the hearts and lives of all who loved and knew him. Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Mary Edna Freeman and a brother, Emmett Maurice Miller.

He leaves to cherish is fond and precious memories his loving and devoted wife of 36 years, Erma Battise; children, Jeronica (Rev. Steven) Dickerson, Raleigh, NC; Louis Jackson, Brandon Jackson, Shanelle (Ben) Wilson, and Natasha Battise, all of Columbus, OH; thirteen grandchildren, La’Tavian Payton, Alayah Dickerson, Riquari Jackson, Briahna Jackson, Zaria Jackson, Riahna Jackson, Steven Dickerson, Jr., Savion Rigbsy, Anastasia Culberson, Khatonni Marshall, Khatonn Marshall, Braxton Smith, and Lunabella Battise; two great-grandchildren, Zylah Parker-Tye and Zavia Parker-Tye; sisters, Ardella Childs and Cheryl Miller; brother, Jack Miller all of Columbus, OH; a host of nephews, nieces, and other loving relatives and dear friends, all of whom will dearly miss him.
