Lester Farrar was born March 10, 1964 to the union of Celestine Stubbs and William Farrar (deceased). He graduated
from Independence High School in 1982 and shortly after joined the US Air Force. While serving his country, he became
trained as a Surgical Tech. This military experience became Lester's life-long love, passion and profession. This was Lester's calling and gift for 37 years, he preferred to be called Les, and that is what his fellow workers and friends called him.

Les was respected and well thought of in the medical community, being called by some of the Doctors their "go to" man.
Les was a die hard OSU fan, loved to play video games, was an avid news fan, and displayed a special love for the family cat, who's name was Miiss Kitty, but was called Booger by Les.

Lester left this life for a better life with the Lord on November 9th, 2019, and will be sadly missed by his family and
friends. He leaves behind his Mother Celestine, Dad Patrick Appollonio, Son Samual Clark and Grandaughter Ryliegh Clark. He also leaves behind Brenda Kitsos, his Fiancé and best friend. Brothers: William (Wilma) Farrar, Pritchard (Nicky) Farrar, Christopher (Tiffany) Appollonio, Sisters: Carletta (Donnell) Hughes, Patrice (Gary) James. Nieces: Tanika (Rayshawn) Sykes, Jalisa Jones, Nephews: Jaamel Farrar, and Robert Jones, Great Nephew Joshua Farrar, Nieces: Jordan and Christal Appollonio, and Great Niece, Carmen Farrar. Lester also leaves behind many Aunts, Uncles, cousins by the dozens and so many wonderful friends.

I worked with Les at Doctor's Hospital and again when he was a rep for Stryker and I worked at Grant Bone and Joint Center. When I first met Les, he was burdened with training me...I learned so much from him. His experience as a Surgical Technologist was astounding and it was obvious that he enjoyed is work. I will forever be grateful for all that he taught me. I will never forget him. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this most difficult time. He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. I can only pray that knowing that will bring you some peace.

Les was the go to man in Lancaster, Ohio as well, where I had the pleasure of working with him at Fairfield Medical Center as well as Riverview. Excellent surgical tech boasting with confidence. That smile says it all. Les will be missed by all of us. Many prayers for his family and during this hard time, enjoy the peace that Les has received his crown and is with our Lord Jesus Christ.
