Kenneth "Kenny" Alexander Corpening

Kenny was born January 16th 1956 the second oldest of seven children. Born in Morganton, North Carolina to Mr. John Corpening and Ms. Joan Sloan.

Life for Kenny wasn’t easy but he met and fell in love with his beautiful wife Irene Corpening of Columbus, Ohio. They were united in marriage for 32 years with three children whom he was a wonderful father to. Kevin, Sharmayne, and Shawnetta baker all of Columbus, Ohio.

It has been such an honor and blessing to have known such a great man. Kenny has always had a beautiful soul. He was a loving husband, father, uncle, brother and friend. He had a heart that was so big an illuminated all that came into contact with him. He has and would do anything for anyone rather he knew you or not. He was such a blessing to many and will forever be missed by all those who truly knew him.

Kenneth is preceded in death in death by father: john Corpening, mother: Joan Sloan, sister: Pernessa Connelly. He leaves loving memories cherished by wife: Irene Corpening and three loving children, sisters: Carolyn (Anthony) Scott, Betty Patterson, Delores Tyson, and Elizabeth Sloan, brother: Elbert Corpening with a host of nieces, nephews, grands, and great-grands as well as friends. Special friends: Terrance Hubbard and Sidney Richardson.
