Obituary for JOSHUA TYLER LEWIS JONES

Joshua Tyler Lewis Jones was born November 9, 1998 in Columbus, Oh at Ohio State University Hospital. Joshua was the fourth of four children. Joshua accepted Christ at an early age at New Generation Church. He attended Eastmoor Academy before graduating with a high school diploma from Marion Franklin High School. Joshua chose the path of entrepreneurship determined to be self-made.

Joshua discovered early on his raw talent for athleticism. He began his football career with the Weinland Park Dawgs, moving on to Columbus Daystars where he would form lifelong friendships. He then continued on to play with the SCYA Seminoles before furthering his career to high school.

Joshua became a Varsity Quarterback his freshman year with the Eastmoor Warriors. He continued to achieve many accolades including maintaining his Quarterback position for the duration of his time there. Joshua then continued on as a star football player for Marion Franklin until graduation.

Upon graduating Joshua took an interest in masonry and carpentry , developing internships throughout the city where he honed his craft. Staying true to his natural love for music, Joshua pursued a career in Hip hop where he became known as "Only1Juug". He would then go on to release his catalog on Apple music.

Staying true to his family roots, Joshua re-created the famous dish "Rasta Pasta". He worked to perfect his homemade recipe before becoming a city phenom with the delectable dish. Joshua would go on to have endless sellouts and successfully catered events.

Joshua had many talents and was a devoted Son, Grandson, Brother, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin and Friend, always expressing his fiery passion towards the things and people he loved. He was extremely loyal to his friends and family.

Joshua is preceded in death by Maternal grandparents Donna (Jesse) Smith- Dodge and Charles Smith. Paternal grandparents Mary Jones and Robert Lee Bates. Uncles Robert Lee Jones and Micheal Smith, Aunt Carla Dean Carter and cousin Karina Smith.

He leaves to cherish his memory Mother Tanya Long, Father Byron Jones. Brothers Floyd Dwayne (Tyra Spotts) Long, and Justin Jones. Sister Helena Echeverria. Nieces Tyla Long-Spotts, Layla Jones and Nephew Tahj Hopkins. A host of aunts and uncles including special uncle Robert "Uncle Bobby" Smith. Joshua leaves a host of cousins including special cousins Terriona Jordan, Hasina Cain, Asiri Cain, Jada Cain- Walker and Kileeja Mock. Josh leaves to cherish his memory a host of friends including Tyion Akins, Tyreek Gills, Calvin Twyman, Tato Jackson, Dariuis Echols, Justin Tyler and soulmate Kashae Robinson.

Fly high Joshua you are already deeply missed. There will never be another Rasta Pasta because we all know B4E and Theres Only1Juug!
