Obituary for JOHN FLOREN APT

John Apt

Sunrise 3-25-1947 Sunset 10-25-2022

Almost, 25 years ago John Apt, celebrated one of the most joyous occasions of his life when he wed the love of his life Loretta. They would go on to share their life with many memories, smiles, jokes between them and laughter. John and Loretta often held hands especially when they would go on walks.

A favorite past time in the Apt household was watching the Buckeyes. John favorite beverage of choice was Mountain Dew. His other past time was his annual trip to the Little Brown Jug for a number of years. Few people would know this but John had a beautiful baritone voice with hymns being his favorite. If you would ask John which was his favorite he would say “he didn’t know because he liked them all.” He was a very friendly person and laughed a lot.

On, October 25, 2022, John would hold the hand of his life partner, Loretta one last time and whisper “I Love You” as he would go on to transition from this earthly place to the arms of his Heavenly Father.

John’s death is preceded by parents, Eugene and Margaret; his brother, Titus Apt; and sister, Phyllis (Apt) Danaugh. Left to mourn is his wife, Loretta Apt; stepdaughter, Denise Goudy; brother-in-law, Ronald (Cassandra) Price; FCOG Family, and former Walmart coworkers and we can’t forget Loretta and John’s spoiled fur-baby Bailey.

The family would like to say thank you to Bishop Timothy Clarke and all of the FCOG family; Hospice, Nat’l Church Residence especially Angela, RN Mgr; the flowers, calls, prayers and Caliman Funeral Services.
