Every single day after my daughter was born, Jimmie always made sure to mention to me how happy she made him and how beautiful she was. He talked constantly about how he was going to spoil her and get her anything she wanted. He and Cis both provided so much for her while I was pregnant, and it truly meant so much. I’m so grateful he got the chance to meet Emilia, and I’ll always make sure to tell her stories about him and how much he loved her.

Jimmie and I also had an ongoing joke. Anytime he’d leave he’d ask if I needed anything, and my answer was always “a million dollars.” He always said I’d be the first person he’d think of if he ever happened to stumble upon it. Now that he’s gone, I’d give up that million dollar wish if it meant we could have him back.
