Obituary for JERRY LEE WYNN
It is with great sadness that the family of Mr. Jerry Lee Wynn, age 55, transitioned at home surrounded by his loved ones in Columbus, Ohio, Saturday, May 30, 2020. Jerry went to be with the Lord after a long hard battle with Pancreatic Cancer.
Born on February 26, 1965 in Columbus, Ohio, where he lived his entire life. Jerry, attended Mifflin Jr./Sr. High and Linden McKinley High School before joining the Army. During high school and beyond he was a proud and active participant in sports, playing football in high school and intermural basketball thereafter. He was affectionately known as “Big J” to family and friends. Jerry had a big heart and would do anything for those he loves.
He worked at Kitchell where he was a valued part of the facilities maintenance team housed at VSP until retiring in 2019 following his diagnosis to focus on his treatment. Jerry was a member of the Pipefitter’s Union and was also the owner and operator of his own landscaping and maintenance business.
Survivors include his loving wife of 15 years, Terri Rene’, his mother, Lorene Watson, his children Lamonte, Erin, Dallas, and Brittany. His sisters Tina, Destiny and brother Bush, and a host of other relatives, all who reside in the Columbus area and California.
