Obituary for Jamika Ann Tashawna Summerville

Jamika Ann Tashawna Summerville was born on Sunday, March 2, 1997, at The Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was a student at Highland Elementary School, Westmore Middle School, and a proud graduate of West High School, Class of 2015.

Jamika furthered her education at Hocking Hills College, majoring in Business. At the age of 20, Jamika returned to Highland Elementary School as a Teacher’s Aid, employed with Columbus City Schools. In addition, she also pursued a modeling career.

Jamika wasn’t just a pretty, petite fashionista, with a glowing smile and dimples to dream of, she was kind-hearted and a major people person. Her dominant personality and strong mind naturally led her to become an entrepreneur.

She was an advisor, a shoulder to lean on, a needed ride . . . YOU NAME IT, JAMIKA MADE A WAY. Jamika loved to travel and have fun, especially with family. Jamika’s contagious smile, charm, and unforgettable personality will live on. Jamika will be immensely missed by family, friends, and her students.
