Obituary for JAMES MARTIN Jr.
James Martin, Jr. (Junebug) was born on January 4, 1936, to James Martin, Sr. and Clara Walker Martin in Altavista Virginia.
He departed this life on Friday, April 10, 2020, at the age of 84 at his residence. He was a proud member of AFSCME Local 1632 employed by the city of Columbus sanitation department.
James was preceded in death by both parents and son James Marvin Martin. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Louisa Foster Martin; sons, Keith Dimmy, Jeffrey Martin; daughter Rhoda Martin and step-daughter Yvonne Foster-Smith; granddaughters Dawana Burke and Ashanti Martin, and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers please make donations in James's memory to the Hospice program at Mount Carmel Hospital.
