Gary A. Parfitt Sr., 72, passed away unexpectedly after a long illness Saturday, Dec. 21, 2019. He was born April 26,1947 in Columbus, Ohio to Dorthy and John Parfitt. Gary was a loving father to 3, Denise Flowers, Gerald Geter “Gerry” and Gary Jr.”Bubby” Parfitt (Charie), a grandfather to 9, a great grandfather to 5, a brother to 6, an uncle, cousin, friend and most importantly and amazing Husband to Lula Parfitt “Lu Flowers” for almost 44 years. Gary not only loved his family, he loved his dog, cheeseburgers, and the casino. He was a dedicated bus driver (25 years) for the Columbus City School District and a Retired Veteran. He loved fishing, hunting and was overall “The Jack of all Trades”.
No funeral services will be held as it was Gary's wish that he be cremated and placed in Dayton, Ohio at the National Cemetery. The private family ceremony will be held at a later date.
