Obituary for ERIC JULIUS CHINN
Eric was born May 6, 1969 to Arleatha and Delmas Chinn. He departed this life on June 10, 2020. Eric was a student of Columbus City Schools and a graduate of Mifflin High School where he received 1st Team Honorable Mention. He attended the University of Northern Montana. Eric was a longtime employee of the State of Ohio, Department of Rehabilitation and Corrections.
He is preceded in death by his father; Delmas Chinn, grandparents; Phil and Rosie Anderson, aunts; Gloria, Lola and Judy, uncles; Phil, Jim, Capp, Raymond and PeeWee Anderson. Eric leaves to cherish his memory, his children; Eric, Jr., Kyree, Caleb and Ka’Miah; mother; Arleatha, brothers; Spencer, Maurice (Naomi), Angelo and Tito, sisters; Michelle, Mia and Carla, along with a long list of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Eric loved traveling, watching his favorite football teams— the Buckeye and Steelers and making everyone he came in contact with laugh. If you knew him, he made you smile. His jokes and sense of humor will surely be missed.
