David Lamont Wharton Sr, age fifty-four, of Columbus, resided in Flatwood, Kentucky, passed away on November 7, 2022. David was predeceased by mother, Geraldine R. Wharton; brother, Robert Murphy; sisters, Theresa Murphy and Geraldine (Wharton) Board; sons, David Wharton Jr and John Wharton. Loving memories are cherished by his daughter, Joy Wharton; sisters, Carolyn Scott and Rose Murphy; brothers, John Wharton and Roland (Ruth) Wharton; many grandchildren, and a host of other family members and friends.
