Obituary for DANTE LAMAR GREGORY
Dante Lamar Gregory, age 40, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 29th, 2020 at Mount Carmel East Hospital. He was born April 4th, 1980 in Columbus, Ohio to Kendall E. Howie and Bernadinette Gregory.
Dante received his education in the Columbus Public School System. He loved to dress, cook, was a jokester, had a heart of gold, loved everyone and everyone he met was his friend. Dante's dream was to be a rapper and recorded his own CD. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Eloise Gregory; paternal grandparents, Brenda Howie, Norman Howie and James Anderson, Sr.; great grandparents, Spencer and Marydell Gregory, Willis and Esther Carey, Harry and Grace R. Kinney; aunts, Pamela Gregory, Renee Gregory and Darlene Anderson.
Dante leaves to cherish his memory, loving and devoted parents, Bernadinette (Daryl) Gregory and Kendall E. (Trina) Howie; daughters, Breanna Watkins and Sanaya Gregory; brother, Robert "Bob" Gregory; sister, Lyndse Hicks; uncles, Darwin (Maria) Carey, Mike (Stacey) Gregory and Rodney Gregory; aunts, Kim Howie, Cheryl Carey and Kim Gregory; nieces, Mianni Gregory and Tiyana Rose Evelyn; nephew, Robert "RJ" Gregory; cousins, Kenya, Brandon, Antwane, Darwin, Jr., Kenny, Aaron, Shannon, Derrick "Bubbs", Dominique, Destinee and Nasir; and a host of relatives, extended family and friends; best friend, Norman "Popa" Hawkins and Special Friend, Quiana Holmes.
