Obituary for Cartalance Patricia Campbell

Minister Cartalance P. Campbell went into the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 22, 2020 at Mt. Carmel/St. Ann's Hospital.

Cartalance was born on March 10, 1939 in Bramwell, West Virginia to the Walter C. Smith Sr. and Maggie Smith in Bramwell, West Virginia.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Edward D. Campbell, Sr., sister Natalie A. Smith and granddaughter Asia Law.

Cartalance is survived by her sons, Victor A. Smith of Richmond, VA., Eric (Becky) Campbell of Roanoke, VA., Mark Campbell (Nikkie Thomas) of Columbus and daughter, Karen Law of Columbus. Sisters, Sandra J. Martin of Columbus, Margaret M. Williams of Denver, CO., and brothers, Richard G. Smith, Conrad V. Smith and Morris N. (Kim) Smith of Columbus. She is also survived by grandchildren, Denise Martin of Bluefield, West Virginia and Kristen Smith of Hampton, VA., two great-grandson's as well as a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.





Cartalance retired as a certified home nursing assistant and worked at various locations in Columbus, OH. She dedicated her life to the Lord and served at First Church of God in Columbus on the Ministerial Rotation Team when assigned to lead the call to worship, read scriptures as well as being a Prayer Warrior. Cartalance ministered to those in the church as well as to her family, friends and strangers that she would meet.

She was a loving mother, sister, aunt and friend and will be deeply missed.
