After a short illness, Bobby Dukes Sr., age 74, of Columbus, Ohio was called home by our
heavenly father on Monday, January 11, 2021. He is preceded in death by his father, Phillip
Brihm; his two sisters Alma Randall and Queen Esther Dukes Williams; daughter, Barbara Ann
Tucker and brother, Roy Brihm.
Bobby was born March 16, 1946 and graduated from Taft High School in Cincinnati, Ohio. He
was a former employee of Shades Restaurant on S. High Street and the Goodwill of Columbus.
He enjoyed cooking and working on the grill. He loved fishing and watching baseball. Bobby
loved to dance and was a fan of James Brown. He would learn all James Brown dance moves,
including the splits, and would teach the dances to his younger brothers. He was a wonderful
grandfather and adored his grandchildren. Bobby was mild mannered, never complained and
always had a smile on his face. Even when he was ill, he managed to smile and express concern
for others.
