Beverly Jean Bowles, 81, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019.

Born December 5, 1937 in Fort Lawn, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Marion Hancock and Lucille Halsey Hancock.

Beverly is preceded in death by her husband, Ernest W. Bowles; son, Tracy C. Stewart; grandson, Mychal A. Stewart; and sisters, Betty Lynn and Jane Johnson.

Beverly is survived by her sons, Malcolm L. Stewart of Los Angeles, California and Dale C. Stewart of Columbus, Ohio; daughter-in-law, Brenda Stewart of Stone Mountain, Georgia; granddaughter, Anais Stewart of Stone Mountain, Georgia; brothers, Bill Hancock, Donald Hancock, Thomas Hancock, Jerry Hancock, Ronnie Hancock, and David Hancock; and sister, Donnette Hancock Courts and a host of other relatives.

Beverly's family would like to acknowledge the Johnson sisters' (nieces, Devera, Toni and Rosalind) for their unwavering support. In addition, a special thank you to all of Beverly's close friends for your sincere kindness throughout the years and especially during this time of grief.
