Obituary for Annie Louise Prater

Mrs. Annie Louise Worthy Prater, a native of Thomaston, Georgia, was born on March 27, 1927, to the late Lester Worthy and the late Clyde Garland Worthy. Mrs. Prater attended the Lincoln Park School in the Thomaston-Upson County area.
Mrs. Prater married the love of her life the late Mr. William Prater, and they decided to make Columbus, Ohio their home. To this union was added one daughter, the late Sheila Ann Prater Shaviss. Mrs. Prater enjoyed life, she loved her work in the field of nursing. She loved people and her family. She was preceded in death by daughter, Shelia Shaviss; grandson, Raoul Morgan; her siblings: Mr. M. C. Worthy, Mr. Johnny Will Worthy, Mr. Walter Worthy, and Mrs. Willie Ruth Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memories two granddaughters, Sheneal Prater and Arielle Morgan, five great-grandchildren, China Peyton, Aysia Prater, Y’sreal Prater, London Prater and Zyen Prater; sisters, Mrs. Nettie King of Detroit, Michigan, Mrs. Clara Lou Pennyman of Thomaston, Georgia; and brothers: Mr. Willie(Joann)Clyde Worthy of Melbourne, Florida, Mr. Andrew Worthy of Thomaston, Georgia.
