Obituary for ABRIE EMERY SAUNDERS III
Abrie Emery Saunders III, 63, was born in Columbus, OH at the University Hospital, on February 4, 1959 to the late Dollie H. Saunders and Emery Abrie Saunders, Jr. He suddenly departed this earthly life on Saturday, September 3, 2022, preceded in death by his parents.
Abrie graduated from Marion Franklin, class of 1977. Abe was a cook and caretaker of his father until he passed away. “Abe,” as he was affectionately called, lived his life unapologetically and with no regrets. He frequently stated that he wanted to live in our family home and to “ die in it like my dad did.” Abrie left this life as he lived it; on his own terms. Although he was 63 years of age; he swore that everyone thought he was 30.
Abe leaves to cherish his memory his only child Misha C. McNeil (Shawn Falls); grandchildren Nevaeh and Antonio Davis; Sister, Dr. Sandra Saunders Gillins (Gregory) of San Antonio, TX. Abe will also be deeply missed by close family members, Dorothy D Alexander, Doncella Alexander, Brandon (Stephanie) Alexander, Robert Alexander, one nephew, Emery E. Saunders, and a host of other cousins and special friends.
